"What you see through the telescopes is insane." She did this last time at Joshua Tree and says with 11 of us it could be really worth it. Not exactly cheap, but unforgettable.

A short boardwalk through a dense garden of "jumping" cholla cacti that glow golden at sunset. Quick, easy, magical. Don't touch the cactus! (They literally jump onto you.)
For the adventurous crew โ climb to 5,456 feet for the most breathtaking 360ยฐ panorama in the park. Best at sunrise or sunset. The reward at the top is unreal.
A true desert oasis โ hike over a ridge and descend into a hidden canyon with real palm trees and a spring. Feels like discovering a secret world.
